Disclaimer

Under the proposed project, a total of 19 training programs will be arranged for the enhancement of the skill and quality of the journalists of local and national newspapers working in the northern region on economic and financial reporting. Out of 19 training programs, 16 will be for the local journalists of print media and other 3 for the local journalists of electronic media of the northern region. The duration of every training course will be 5 (five) days. At least 480 journalists of local and national newspapers and 70 journalists of electronic media working in the northern region will take part in the training programs. The 16 training programs for the journalists of newspapers will be arranged separately at 16 districts and the 3 training for the electronic media people will be arranged at Rajshahi, Bogra and Dinajpur.

Two renowned trainers on economic and financial reporting of the Thomson Foundation will conduct 6 (six) training programs. They will also prepare the module and all other necessary documents for the training courses. One of them will conduct three training courses arranged particularly for the journalists of electronic media. Other one will conduct three training courses to be held at Rajshahi, Dinajpur and Bogra for the journalists of print media. In the meantime both of them will give an outline and clear concept of strategy, style and technique of arranging such a successful training to the resource persons and facilitators of CCD, so that they can conduct other 13 training programs effectively and successfully.
